FREE lecture 7th April:

Liberation from the shadows of your past:

How to make your brain a kinder place to live

Sarah offers a free lecture on the 7th April 2022 at Kozminski University. Make sure to reserve your space here.

Having warmth for ourselves affects our health, our life decisions, our capacity for navigating our life, and our relationships to the better.

But we may have agreements with ourselves – agreements we don’t even know about – to NOT be warm with ourselves. We may have contracts to be indifferent or even to hate and be cruel to ourselves.

Without knowing it, we make these self-agreements in order to leverage our nervous systems to take care of the people around us. For example, we may make sure we are never sad so things are easier for our families. The long-term results for our bodies, minds, and nervous systems can be tragic, even though we originally wanted to do the best thing for everyone.”

During the lecture and the following discussion with Sarah Peyton you will:

  • learn how to move from Self-sabotage to Self-care and why it is important
  • find out our how trauma affects our brains, bodies and relationship with others and with ourselves
  • gain a better understanding of the world of relational neuroscience
  • learn how to start using the lens of unconscious contracts in your everyday life situations
  • explore how our brains, nervous systems, and bodies react to the brains, nervous systems, and bodies of others.

Venue and time:

ul. Jagiellońska 57/59, 03-301 Warsaw, Poland

The lecture begins at 18.00. Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of starting time in order for you to find the auditorium. After Sarah’s 90 minutes presentation, there will be a half-hour for questions and discussion.
